I am the happiest when I help our environment and all the people in it.” This is the statement from Cammie’s entry that won her this month’s Via E Girl title. In this sentence is found the essence of compassion--caring for others to the point where you feel what they feel. So helping people to find happiness becomes the very thing that makes you happy too! There are many small ways to help. Picking up trash someone else carelessly left behind is not fun. But you realize taking the time to pickup trash makes the environment a nicer place for everyone. This small sacrifice shows leadership. Making a friend smile when they are sad or hurt, or remembering that just a smile and warm hello is a gift of kindness that makes the world a nicer place to live, are some other examples of how each of us can show compassion and leadership everyday. Cammie is always full of energy and enjoys learning new things. She loves to tumble, work on arts and crafts and has a lot of fun with her friends, family and dollfriends.
