Some girls are born with a special mission. Sarah is one of those girls. Sarah was born with a heart that was not fully developed. The doctors helped Sarah’s heart so she could grow up and play with her twin sister. Each year the doctors would work on little Sarah’s heart in the hopes that they could fix it and she could grow up to run and play like most kids. This month at four years old, Sarah did not go home with her family because her heart could not be fixed. She went to heaven where her grandma, grandpa and uncle were waiting to welcome her.

Nearly one out of 100 children are born with congenital heart defects according to the Children’s Heart Foundation. Although Sarah is now in heaven she left us the gift to remember her by helping other children who need the love and care of special doctors.
