Hi my name is Alexis, but you can call me Alex. The only time I go by the name of Alexis is when I'm at formal events with my dad. I was born in San Clemente, California but travel around the world with my dad, Nick O'shay, who is an adventure journalist writing for the famous travel magazine "Today's Passport". We currently live in
São Paulo,
Brazil, the third largest city in South America. From Sao Paulo, we travel all through South America writing about our great adventures!
São
Paulo is a lot like New York or Los Angeles. It is a big city where people from around the world come to live and work. Although English is a common language in Brazil the national language is Portuguese. I'm learning how to speak Portuguese in school. We have
beaches,
museums, really good food and have a really cool martial art called
Capoeira, which is performed to music. It is a lot like gymnastics. I can teach you some of the moves if you would like. I promise to write you a lot of letters and hope we can become best friends!
Write me
too!
Bye for now…
Your BFF,
These are my favorites stories and tales of
my travel adventures.
